I Have Something to Tell You

Hi Guys! It's been ages..I've been meaning to do this for a long time coming now. But I didn't know where to start. iBlogWithGrace started out in 2013 as a creative outlet for me(I deleted all the 2013 posts because they made me feel mushy) and became a huge part of my life.

We've had some consistent moments, and long periods of silence here on the blog. It's been a wonderful experience and I've come to the end of the road for this brand. I hope you understand with me.
You can go through all my previous posts to see what I mean. Oh, the treasures I call my archives.

Either way, it's been fun! And indeed a great learning process for me. iBlogWithGrace has served its purpose, and it's time to draw the curtain. I am very grateful for the opportunities that have presented themselves to me because of this platform. Thank you very much. Until we meet again in another part of the internet.
Goodbye to you my trusted friend, forever, or for now...

Merry Christmas and a happy new year guys. Thanks for being a part of my life!
All my love,

HAPPY NEW MONTH! An Experience on Sexual Harassment in Public Transportation

Quote of the Day: “Not all mad people roam the streets”.

Scarred, dishevelled, and disgusted. Yes,that’s just how I feel after my experience this morning. Afraid is what I feel for the little girls that might not be lucky enough. Afraid is what I feel for the ladies, and, women that might encounter this experience predator at night.
For a long time coming now, I’ve been meaning to post the issue of perverts and rapists who drive and mingle with people daily. But one thing or the other gets in the way, and I’m down to leaving it in my drafts for another day (you should see all the posts I have in there, some date back to 2014).
Today I had one of the most terrible experience a young woman could have on board public transportation. It was 8:30 am, and I was hurrying to meet up with my CDS attendance which ends at 9am.

After calculating how long it would take for the more affordable/popular along, rickshaw and trek would take, I opted to chatter a federal approved coloured taxi. The man in his late thirties/early forties whom I suspect to be Igbo because of his accent wanted me to sit in front with him,but I sternly refused and sat at the back and threw my face out the window because I wasn’t in the mood for small talk(thank God).

As the warm, humid air blew my face, using my side eye,I noticed something funny going on in front. The driver kept fondling with his red Tee shirt. I was going to ask if he was alright when I saw his thrust up full-fledged phallus sticking out of his trouser. He had unzipped himself and was completely naked. He kept saying “All these fine Abuja girls una kill person”.

The route he took was quite lonely and I thought if this man had the boldness to bare it out like this while driving, he can harm me or kill me if I try anything funny. Quickly, I whipped out my phone and started snapchatting what was going on so that my friends know in case anything happened to me. I saved the video before posting it.

I kept my calm the entire time, and started pleading the blood of Jesus over myself and destiny. I was prepared to kill for my dignity if it came to it. I prayed without ceasing, and refused to look at his bare phallus the entire time. I had heard of cases where confident perverts like this used diabolic means to enchant their unsuspecting prey. I thank God for protecting me the entire time, and even after that.

I cried for the women who leave their children in the custody of drivers and unknown men and women(because some women molest children as well, especially young boys which sadly is not spoken of as much as) to take them to school and back,or other places. We need to watch out for our children, and teach them that situations like this happen. We need to teach them what to do. Can you even imagine what this man can do to a woman or a child at night if he could do this in broad daylight?

I used to know a lady who is late now,in her youth, she entered a public transport wearing a white lace clothe. The bus was overcrowded to the point that people had to stand close to each other, and packed like sardines. By the time she alighted, the back of her dress was completely soaked with semen. Apparently, the man behind her masturbated the entire time. When she raised an alarm, nobody did anything. Things like this happen every day, and most people remove their eyes, or choose to ignore it because they don’t see it as heavy weight a crime as other grievous offences. I know, quite shameful.

In a society that used to hush the mouths of victims of sexual assault and psychological scars in a bid to prevent segregation,we can do more. By continuously taking stands against these perverts like creating hotlines,a list of what to do if you find yourself in this situation, flyers, free psychiatric checks for drivers of short distance public transportation, we can be rest assured that our children, wherever they are, are hopefully safe.

Men like this are ticking time bombs waiting to happen.
They say the morning sunshine is full of laughter; regardless of my experience today, I believe them.

All You Need to Know About the Revised Executive Order

Hi guys!
While there are corrupt allegations against Francois Fillon, he has still refused to go, step down from the Presidential Elections. Monsieur Juppe whom many hoped/hope will eneter the race has peacefully declined to run for the office of the President of France.

In his statement, he made it clear that he won't be doing so,and while it is a bit too late for him to do so,it isn't and will never be too late for France(whatever that means).
And, as promised earlier on Twitter this is all you need to know on the Revised Executive Order signed by President Donald Trump

On the 27th of January 27, 2017 the White House released an Executive Order from President Trump that caused a lot of tensions. However,it has been reviewed over the past one month and some amendments were made. Some of which were announced earlier by Rex Tillerson the United States’ Secretary of State.

Jeff Sessions the US Attorney General, in his statement made it clear that terrorist might enter the US through the refugee programme, and that the US is just being conscious in taking steps to protect its people, and visitors from potential threats.

John Kelly the Homeland Security Secretary said that the Newly Revised Executive Order doesn’t affect persons with legal permanent residence or valid travel visas to the United States of America.

  • It will be implemented in the next 10 days.
  • The Banned Nations have reduced in number to just six: Libya, Sudan, Yemen, Somalia, Iran, and Syria.
  • Their own government are unwilling or unable to provide enough info to vet them safe to be admitted into the US.
  • Syrian Refugees will be treated no differently from other refugees.
  • Three out of the aforementioned above are being suspected of funding terrorist activities.
In other News, Mary Barra says it’s the right decision General motors sells PSA for $2.3B,what do you think?

Personally, I think today was too sunny. How are you doing today?
